THE CRETACEOUS SYSTEM OF RUSSIA AND NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES: PROBLEMS OF STRATIGRAPHY AND PALEOGEOGRAPHY: PROCEEDINGS OF THE XII ALL-RUSSIAN CONFERENCE
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The collection contains the materials of the reports prepared for the Twelfth All-Russian Conference with International Participation "The Cretaceous System of Russia and the Near Abroad: Problems of Stratigraphy and Paleogeography", dedicated to the first researchers of the Cretaceous deposits of Sakhalin, Fyodor Bogdanovich Schmidt, Nikolai Nikolaevich Tikhonovich, and Pyotr Ignatievich Polevoy. The article discusses current theoretical and practical issues in stratigraphy, paleontology, paleogeography, sedimentology, and climatology, as well as some problems related to the oil and gas potential, tectonics, and geodynamics of the Cretaceous deposits in Russia and neighboring countries.

Keywords:
